Hmm, that’s weird. Try commenting out the first mirror in the list in /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist, and then run the update without refreshing the mirrors.

There was an issue with the nvidia graphics drivers that fixed itself.

Was able to fix this issue by running an earlier snapshot and then updating.

Something to do with the nvidia driver update that was glitching. Much appreciated.
