Pipewire update query

I've just tried to update and I've got the following:

:: Synchronising package databases...
 garuda downloading...
 core downloading...
 extra downloading...
 community downloading...
 multilib downloading...
 chaotic-aur downloading...
:: Starting full system upgrade...
resolving dependencies...
:: There are 2 providers available for libpipewire-0.3.so=0-64:
:: Repository extra
   1) libpipewire
:: Repository chaotic-aur
   2) pipewire-common-git

Enter a number (default=1):

What is the correct response?

They're both technically correct, as they both satisfy what's needed.

Notes:

  • extra is an official repo of arch
  • chaotic is an unofficial automated building repo.
  • -git means pulling from a git repo to be built (more up to date, can be less stable)

Personally, I went with 1, as it's only grabbing the necessary lib. Not to mention I'm too lazy to dig around in the git to see what else this contains.

I went with #2 and it gave me some conflict error after downloading; then I used #1 and system updated normally.

Seems booth work, default is 1

I went with #1. The update went without issue and everything works fine following it.

Thanks for the info.
