Aaah that did it removed zonefinder and was able to update Perl.

do I need to reinstall perl-io-interface and zonefinder? What are they used for?

perl-io-interface is required by zonefinder (video surveillance software system). Apart from that zonefinder is need for mythplugins-mythzoneminder which is to view CCTV footage from zoneminder in MythTV. Info taken from https://aur.archlinux.org/
