In my impatient wait for the next Garuda, I went and installed Arch and have now gotten myself so entrenched in it that I don’t know if I want to dump it and install Garuda Broadwing when it comes. It seems like too much work to install everything again…I’m just a cry baby!
Personally I think you’ll be missing out on some very useful tools you do not get out of the gate with Vanilla Arch. Missing out on a lot of under the hood fixes that you will have to figure out yourself. Don’t get me wrong I install a copy of Arch, but for fallback. I boot into it every few days update it fix anything that needs fixing and then go back to Garuda or RebornOS. Thak Garuda Maintenance for example I have it installed in both Arch and Reborn cause it does come very handy from time to time.
Just sort everything you need, then you’ll realise switching is an easy thing to do.
Garuda is my main and I have Arch as a secondary on my old laptop. You could still have both if you want
