Path of Exile 2 black screen and no sound or frames + RTX 4070 Super card

I was trying to play POE 2 on my pc after installing Linux Garuda Gaming Edition. IT would load and black screen and no sound or frames.

I read on Protondb that I need to change the config so it would use Direct X 12 instead of Vulkan, but my question is where is the config I couldnt find it.

Example for Steam:
open local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/2694490/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Documents/My Games/Path of Exile 2/poe2_production_Config.ini and replace

renderer_type=Vulkan

with

renderer_type=DirectX12

You are absolutely correct on this

I play PoE2 on Garuda, works without problem.

However the Vulkan is currently broken partially it causes a lot of time black screen or will stuck the game once logging into the server.

Changing it to DX12 fixes the issues.

Depending on which disk you have the steam lib and game installed find it as nepti mentioned. In My Games/PoE2 will be 2 folders and a config file

Open that Config File and change to renderer_type=DirectX12 under Display section.
