PasswordSafe (pwsafe) simply does not work

If this is a thing that requires scripting to fix, I am very screwed.
This issue is happening with PasswordSafe (pwsafe) as said in the title…
I simply can never open it. It just won’t let me. The first try (using flatpak), it did this.
Second try with the AUR installs, it still did this.
Using sudo worked for a short while to get it working but it eventually died too.
The error:

/usr/include/c++/14.1.1/bits/stl_vector.h:1130: std::vector<_Tp, _Alloc>::reference std::vector<_Tp, _Alloc>::operator[](size_type) [with _Tp = std::__cxx11::basic_string<wchar_t>; _Alloc =std::allocator<std::__cxx11::basic_string<wchar_t> >; reference = std::__cxx11::basic_string<wchar_t>&; size_type = long unsigned int]: Assertion '__n < this->size()' failed.

The last update of that AUR package was in March 2022.
The last commit upstream 3 years ago.
I think a breakage can happen in these cases.
In my opinion you’d better look for an alternative.

Wrong one. I was talking about the passwordsafe package.
Just added the “(pwsafe)” to clarify that the application was the one that uses that command name/URL was the one I was talking about, and not the other Password Safe.
(Definitely caused confusion there. Oops.)

Hmm… Should I attempt to edit the initial post in order to make it clear WHAT I’m trying to fix, due to the initial miscommunication?

Actually, I think I should make a new post. Pretty sure nobody’s going to actually really go here and try to help, due to said miscommunication.

Well, I’ll try and wait until the 14 days are over BEFORE creating a new post.

I have already adjusted it, and if no one here can help in the next 14 days, it won’t help to adjust it again.

Have you already asked the developer?
He is also the only one who can fix bugs there.

BTW, this forum is not a general technical support forum.
