Hi folks, tried searching for this error, but couldn’t find anything that looked like it was relevant, however, the past few times I’ve been running gruda-update
after it updates the kernel and runs through the GRUB menu, I get these errors:
Warning: os-prober will be executed to detect other bootable partitions.
Its output will be used to detect bootable binaries on them and create new boot entries.
/usr/lib/os-probes/50mounted-tests: line 186: 134243 Segmentation fault (core dumped) grub-mount "$partition" "$tmpmnt" 2> /dev/null
/usr/lib/os-probes/50mounted-tests.orig: line 72: 134262 Segmentation fault (core dumped) grub-mount "$partition" "$tmpmnt" 2> /dev/null
I can trigger the same errors again when I run update-grub
:
> sudo update-grub

Found memtest86+ image: /boot/memtest86+/memtest.bin

done.
Same error with these two scripts running: /usr/lib/os-probes/50mounted-tests
and /usr/lib/os-probes/50mounted-tests.orig
I hadn’t made any changes to these files, so not sure why this would result in segmentation fault errors. Any ideas?
