I think you should check in your pacman.log what was updated in the last update.
It could be a polkit (or SELinux considering the hardened kernel?) issue.
I see this was updated on 06-Sep-22 (I don't know if this was in your latest update).

One thing you could do, is to check if the issue occurs also in a non-hardened kernel.
In addition to that, you could check if you have pending pacnew files to merge.
