2. Issue Description
Hi everyone,
I’m having trouble running OrcaSlicer on KDE Plasma 6 Wayland with an NVIDIA GPU (OpenGL 4.6, driver 580.76.05).
Symptoms:

The application starts, but the UI does not display.
-
The main window does not render, buttons are unresponsive.

The log is filled with GTK errors and messages about failing to create GBM buffers:
Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_widget_set_size_request: assertion ‘width >= -1’ failed
Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_window_resize: assertion ‘height > 0’ failed
Failed to create GBM buffer of size 1200x736: Invalid argument
Xlib: extension “DRI2” missing on display “:1”.
Cannot register URI scheme wxfs/memory more than once
What I’ve tried:

AppImage and chaotic build — both fail the same way.

Environment variables for GTK/QT (
GDK_BACKEND=wayland/x11,QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb) — no effect. -
Font check — all required fonts are loaded correctly.

OpenGL check — NVIDIA driver 4.6.0 works fine.

Updating Mesa / libgbm — no effect.
Question:
Has anyone managed to run OrcaSlicer under pure Wayland or XWayland on Plasma 6 + NVIDIA?
