Only Monitor Source, no Mic Source

I've been using a USB Sound card for a little while, now I'm not near it and I no longer have a mic input from my headset (plugged into the onboard mic and headphones (Ryzen 7 Board named Family 17h using snd_hda_intel). This was working a month ago.

Now I'm only getting a Monitor of Family 17h, and no mic input. Sound settings in KDE control panel has no options for enabling the mic input.

ran my system through update through 'pacman -Syu', and rebooted. I just have no idea what to do next. Pipewire is cool, but I just can't get my brain around it when things aren't working.

Here's the output of inxi -Faz

I remember a couple of topics in the past, regarding disappearing mic, solved switching to “analog stereo duplex”. If the option is not available, you could try installing pavucontrol.

Does mic work in live environment? Please boot into live medium and tell.

Well , there we go. I can't believe I didn't find that option. It was set on one of the analog stereo duplex, but not the other one. I got the mic working.

Thanks again!

The solution above fixed it! Thanks, that was a great idea
