Do you have kaccounts-integration and kaccounts-providers installed?

okay i got the google to sync now i just need to get my iphone to work with it lmao...

Hi everyone,
I'm taking back this old conversation to understand what I'm missing.
In Online Accounts, if I select "add new account", I can choose just Google, OpenDesktop, OwnCloud and Nextcloud.
I'm not a real "social guy", but where are Twitter, Facebook and so on?
I've kaccounts-integration and kaccounts-providers installed.
Is there a module to add? Something like that?

If you install telepathy-kde-accounts-kcm you will be able to add integration with chat services.

There used to be Facebook and Twitter integration according to this: Online Accounts - KDE Community Wiki

Apparently Facebook has made an effort to shut out third party clients that don’t use web views, I don't know more about it than that. Facebbok plugin for ktelepathy - r/kde

This is an old thread so I'm not sure if it is still relevant, but this person managed to hack together some chat integration using the purple-facebook package, so their Facebook messages could be integrated in with their other chat stuff. purple-facebook with telepathy / Applications & Desktop Environments / Arch Linux Forums

It doesn't seem worth it to me, but then again I don't know your life.

Hello, I am having this problem of no Online Accounts showing. I have installed the kaccounts as shown with no luck. Any ideas please? I did open a ticket a day or two ago also.

Thank you very much @BluishHumility
Much better now!

I marked it as solved to prevent further necro-bumping.

@bgreen I reponded to your issue on your original thread here: Unable to add Google Drive in both LXQT-Kwin and Dolphin - #7 by BluishHumility

Good idea, we may as well close this one down because the discussion has already drifted a bit from the original issue which was resolved back in July.
