Nwg-shell for sway Wayland compositor

True, but I’m not working on the kernel. What I do, is actually frontend, so no need to use hardcore langs. If it comes to speeds: golang is in no way slower than C++, and much easier to learn.

Yeah, yeah...I'm old school, I'm as old as umm, most of the Garuda foogies. Changing my mind is hard, they don't make replacement parts that old. hide

waht about C#?

Never say never, but for now: nothing that starts with "C". If one day I have too much time, I'll start learning Rust.

My first coding experience was programming 8-bit Atari in 90’s. Later I had nothing to do with programming, until I turned 50. It’s never too late to start a new hobby.

Yeah, RUST seems to be up and coming.
I do have a question now...it's not new this version...
Ok on the config panels screen, I have my two panels (top and bottom), but why does it show an unnamed panel with attribute top? Even after I delete that (seemingly phantom entry), and restart, it still shows?

Have you clicked the "Apply" button? I tend to forget about it.

(sheepish look) Err no, maybe that's it.

I did the same last night. The UI seems to need some improvement.

I have another little nit-pick (I will accept user error or stupidity here).
Ok, I have the stock executor-weather on the bottom panel.
Why doesn't it exist to add to top panel? Does it just exist in the context of the panel it was created in ?

Well, this attitude has pros and cons, but in general: so that you could use the same module in another panel with different settings.

Ok, just wanted to ask...either answer would have made sense (lol)...as long as it wasn't unanticipated. Thanks.

This would be not bad to have an option: "Copy module to panel". However, I'd need a lot of beer to deal with it.

We should have some beer together in real life one day.

Never know, it may just happen one day.

Please move on, there is nothing to see here yet.

Let the developer work in peace.

LOL, I'm still at the office with nothing special to do. Trying to draw a wallpaper for r/unixporn.

Sometimes, developers like attention. I know that most LOVE for people to test their work.
Course then there is the crusty old crab (I know I was one), who would prefer all those bothersome mortals just drop dead, well.....except for the one that throws meat under my door once a day....oh, and maybe the one that restocks the drink machine.

Why do you think I am posting screenshots on unixporn? For someone to test all the stuff at last.
