Nvm installtion issue on Garuda dragonized KDE

Hello Garuda Community,

How do you install NVM on garuda dragonied KDE?

I tried installing it using yay as well as directly cloning the git repo of nvm and using makepkg command.

I observed no problem during installation and everything happened perfectly fine but when I try to see if my nvm is installed or not in my Konsole using the nvm --version command, I get the below response

find-the-command: "nvm" is not found locally, searching in repositories

I'm pretty sure it has been installed. Anyway, I tried removing and installing again and again but with no success.

the installation output text says

You need to source nvm before you can use it. Do one of the following
or similar depending on your shell (and then restart your shell):

echo 'source /usr/share/nvm/init-nvm.sh' >> ~/.bashrc
echo 'source /usr/share/nvm/init-nvm.sh' >> ~/.zshrc

But the problem is I'm using fish. It is neither bash nor zsh and the output text has only mentioned bash and zsh.

Use config.fish

To verify that nvm has been installed, do:

command -v nvm

I get this

╭─nishantk@nishant in ~ took 1ms
╰─λ -v nvm
find-the-command: "-v" is not found locally, searching in repositories...
find-the-command: /var/cache/pkgfile/*.files are out of date, update? [Y/n]

should be the other way around I think. The args come after the command

IDK what this nvm thing is, but you must read exactly what is written.
Not every app or script has a -v, --version output.
Here you can check, only, if nvm is installed.

command -v nvm
