Nvidia video card on minecraft works worst than integrated one

Nvidia video card on minecraft works worst than integrated one, I think is the nvidia driver that doesn't work properly. The os before using Garuda was Kubuntu and there drivers worked. I tried to configure the system reading the online forums, but I didn't manage to fix it.

Thank you for help.

Drivers are installed fine. What method are you using to launch Minecraft in dGPU? Can you try prime-run like

prime-run minecraft-launcher

Change the minecraft-launcher part to the path of minecraft (launcher) or whatever necessary.

I have tried before prime-run with optimus in nvidia mode but I have negative spikes of 12 FPS. Also the menu is quite laggy. Before I reinstalled nvidia drivers also the desktop was laggy. I think it is the driver the problem because the in-game statistics recognizes the video card.

Sorry I can'tupload the image .

There are the in-game statistics:

Java: 17.0.1 64bit

Mem: 24% 504/2048MB

Allocated: 71% 1472MB Native: 87/2048+117MB

Allocation: 20MB/s

CPU: 12x Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8750H CPU @ 2.20GHz

Display: 1920x1007 (NVIDIA Corporation) NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060/PCIe/SSE2 3.2.0 NVIDIA 510.68.02

After I saw the statistics I tried to give 8Gb RAM, but nothing changes.

The GPU is 100% loaded all time.

Hello. Nice processor. I notice you have it set to Powersave and the cores are throttled to 900MHz. Could it be that the performance the Nvidia is trying to pull is too much for the CPU to give it while being throttled by the governor? Have you tried while set to Performance? Or, really, anything but Powersave? If not, your GPU may be bottlenecked by the CPU governor.

Thank you very much, I used the power save configuration, but I didn't think it would have affected the game so much.

I think most games only use one thread so having 6 cores doesn't really help game performance. It's the processor speed that matters.
