Nvidia Has releases some opensource kernel modules. Recently my rtx2060 has been a thorn on contention for me with garuda... I am hoping these can be integrated. I don't know how. I just hope that things will be smoother in the future.
My past linux box had an AMD RX480. I had issues with drivers then. Everything I read indicated that Nvidia was the way to go.... Now with a Nvidia RTX2060, and learned that AMD has integrated drivers into the kernel, I wish I would have gone the other way. This might be the beginning of a better chapter.
