Nvidia-open-dkms vs nvidia-dkms

I just want to know if I switched from the nvidia-dkms driver to the nvidia-open-dkms would I lose any features and is it as straight forward on switching them as say switching out one version of Handbrake with another? Thanks

I mean the divers arn’t 1 to 1 only thing you can really test an see if it fits you needs. If you need cuda i think you still need the proprietary driver to make it work. I do remember something else being needed but that was during the early part of this year so it all might have changed.
