Nvidia Graphics information

Hello,

In the Nvidia X Server settings, the Graphics Information page is completely blank.

Was researching 4K gaming mode and some users suggested to check resolution in the Nvidia app but mine is showing a blank.

Any ideas how to get information to show?

Already ran the Garuda Setup Assistant and updated everything.
Also ran garuda-update and everything is fine.
Ran glxinfo | grep NVIDIA and got no errors.
Ran sudo dracut-rebuild and rebooted but nothing changed.

Things are working normally but in gaming mode the highest resolution I get is 1920x1080. Monitor is 4K adaptive 144 Hz.

Thanks.

Umm I cannot attach a text file so pasting the garuda-inxi here:

Also one more thing. There is no X11 option in the system. pacman -Qs xorg shows all files are installed. Google search shows a lot of “X11 removed” results and I mean a whole lot.

Hello, and welcome!! Just a heads up, if you want help, you should probably add the output of “garuda-inxi’ to your post.

Be sure to post your garuda-inxi on all Issues & Assistance topics made (as the template requested). Do NOT remove the “missing-garuda-inxi” tag otherwise because it will only annoy the mods (or Garuda team members) that put that label there. Same goes for category changes for the topic, etc…

click here after you have read above

You didn’t post your garuda-inxi , but I’m betting you are in a Wayland session.

You can try troubleshooting your issue in a X11 session:
When you first start your computer and the log in screen comes up (called SDDM if you are using KDE types of Garuda), there will be an option for changing the session type by clicking in the lower left and selecting the X11 session type instead.

I’m guessing you are running Wayland, that program only works correctly with X11
