- Operating System: Garuda Linux
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 820M
- Driver Version: 390.157
- Display Manager: SDDM, (if i switch to GDM i can use Green with envy and use nvidia-settings but im still not sure if it is working properly and i couldn’t configure gdm so i switched back sddm and i like to use sddm)

I think because of theese missconfigurations i face “Screen brightness decrease issue after 1-2 seconds of inactivity when set to 60Hz. 48Hz is normal.”

Conclusion:
Despite these extensive efforts, the issues with screen brightness fluctuations and the proper functioning of the NVIDIA 820M GPU persist. I only can say if i switch gdm, i can use nvidia-settings and watch gpu memory usage but with sddm no chance. I want to make 820M as my main GPU. Further assistance from the community would be greatly appreciated. At this point i don’t know what to do and i love Garuda. Please excuse my ignorance and im really sorry if i create a mess with unnecessary code blocks. I tried to provide as much as information for you, experienced users. Thanks!
