It normally ask if you want to do updates and you tell it yes. The nVidia drivers should be installed out of the gate since proprietary was selected during the loading of the live environment. The impression I’m getting is that for some reason the proprietary drives are not being loaded while booting into the live environment, cause even in the live environment the resolution is way off. I’m willing to bet if I boot to the live and check the drivers I’ll find they’re not nVidia like they should be.
