ibt=off stopped working for me either :disappointed:
I will try loading a few snaphots and report back.
EDIT: The oldest snapshot is failing :man_facepalming:

Can you test open kernel modules?

After building it, it wants to swap out zen for standard 5.18 kernel and also says it will break garuda-nvidia-config. Normally you want to change one thing at a time so you can see what may be causing an issue. Not really comfortable with breaking multiple packages... Is there any way to get it to work with existing packages?

You can use -Sdd or -Udd to disable dependency check and BTRFS snapshots should protect you if something goes wrong. (hopefully)

That worked, the nvidia driver is working. Though I'm sure when certain nvidia packages get updated in the future I'm sure its going to complain about dependencies.

That driver & ibt=off also solves for me.

I didn't set ibt=off, just installed the open driver (dkms, not sure it matters, it's the one that was installed with the closed source package previously).

I also realized I don't need ibt=off anymore.

FYI: Arch repos now have driver version 515.43.04-9 which reintroduce the problem and needs to be blocked because the build we use is 515.43.04-8.

I already installed it and is working fine for me. I assumed they added the patch to it.
