Not able to restore the system

Hello ,
I just wanted to try out a kernel cachyos as read about it here :

the kernel doesn’t worked but that’s not a problem the real problem is that after installing it, I wasn’t even able to log in through my old kernel linux-cacule and so for getting it into previous state I tried to restore my system through grub boot menu I was able to boot into a snapshot just before I tried to install cachyos and there came a pop up of btrfs assistant to restore the sanpshot I just clicked yes and typed my password but it doesn’t restored anything and when I rebooted it was still not showing login option .
Please help me so that I can restore my system .
Thanks in advance .

It's something with Wayland and pkexec I don't understand too well.

Use sudo -E btrfs-assistant

It will warn QStandardPaths: runtime directory '/run/user/1000' is not owned by UID 0, but a directory permissions 0700 owned by UID 1000 GID 1001
but otherwise work.

Thanks I have actually used this for many times but this time I got panicked and forgot about this thing

I'm even worse at that... I forget way easier than I learn.

This polkit/wayland thing is quite unfortunate, I hope it gets sorted out one day.
We have all these wonderful tools but a newb like me will pick one from wofi, enter a password and wait scratching his head for a window that never happens.

Hey everyone is a newb at starting , and everyone learns with time

Good catch, @meanruse , well done!
In my opinion restore-related topics are always tricky.
The OP's can get anxious (not in this case  ) and start taking the most varied ways, unmounting and remounting snaphots, volumes and whatnot all over the disk, changing fstab, anything.

I Don’t know to do any of the above things

Oh it's actually your merit, you advised that somewhere I could not find again to reference.
As for getting anxious, just the other day I went nuts with my mirrorlist after some (probably) missing gpg key...
