Hmm… can you tell the ISO through which you did ??

The ISO name ??

And we don’t overwrite configs of users on update soo… after update if they (upstream devs) have did some changes in how to write config then it turns up into an error , you can find the latest configs in /etc/skel/.config

and can compare and edit your original configs accordingly , we haven’t automated it as , it can override custom configs that are written by users

thanks i will check later :wink:

After a quick view to both files there is some difference in on monitor section is auto. I did copy those file in the .conf but same issues i have to check the iso file but not today.

I’m getting the same issue:

I was embedding a screenshot but it says I can’t do that because I’m a new user…

All I did was say yes to the Garuda “special” flavor or whatever it prompted me for. Now I can’t see the main menu.

Garuda Hyprland Linux Zen 250308.iso

All this go edit your configs discussion needs a little more examples? Like, what should the file look like?

  • windowrule v1 syntax is gone. windowrule now behaves like windowrulev2, deprecating the windowrulev2 keyword

Just comment the lines you see in hint message on top
grafik

windowrule = float, title:(^(kitty)$)
windowrule = float, title:(^(garuda-assistant)$)
windowrule = float, title:(^(garuda-boot-options)$)
windowrule = float, title:(^(garuda-boot-repair)$)
windowrule = float, title:(^(garuda-gamer)$)
windowrule = float, title:(^(garuda-network-assistant)$)
windowrule = float, title:(^(garuda-settings-manager)$)
windowrule = float, title:(^(garuda-welcome)$)
windowrule = float, title:(^(calamares)$)

windowrule = opacity 0.85 override 0.85 override,title:(^(catfish)$)

Do I need to modify the titles? For example, it seems that “garuda-welcome” no longer exists, and a new one, “garuda-rani,” has been added.

Edit to your liking :slight_smile:

Hhmmm :thinking:

I post the new syntax, so It’s just a copy & paste thing.

calamares you can comment with #

In the end, IDK know what you mean by

but if you can fix it, everything is fine :slight_smile:

Yes youre right with the syntax is changed. i did chance all errors what the warnings show me in which lines comes up with the correct syntax. If you open the config file there is a hint in like this:

# Example windowrule v2
# windowrulev2 = float,class:^(kitty)$,title:^(kitty)$

Yes i did after fixing the file #calamares because its already installed so i dont need it actually :wink:
