Noob attempting to use usb realtec wifi adapter doesn't understand all the jargon

I am trying to use RTL8811AU usb wifi adapter. I have been attempting to locate a forum post I can comprehend enough to follow but it all goes over my head mostly. I think I found the solution here
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/rtl88xxau-aircrack-dkms-git
via this reddit post
https://www.reddit.com/r/archlinux/comments/1eax8gw/problems_with_connecting_to_the_internet_via_an/
or maybe this one here
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/rtl88x2bu-dkms-git
from this post

but I don’t know where to begin installing these.
I hear this is a rather difficult endeavor and I hope this is educational for me.
Thanks!
