NO SUITABLE KERNELS AVAILABLE During USB Install

noob here! I am seeing following error on boot from USB on laptop or workstation:

NO SUITABLE KERNELS AVAILABLE

If I drop to grub command line some commands return:

error: symbol 'grub_calloc' not found.

Any ideas?

First check for BIOS updates
Second check sha1/256 sum from ISO you download.

Use nonfree driver and try never ISO

  • Downloaded ISO (Checksum OK):
https://builds.garudalinux.org/iso/garuda/dr460nized/210129
  • Image USB via dd
  • Bootloader looks different and now works
  • Perform install

Success!!!
