hda-verb /dev/snd/hwC0D0 0x16 0x701 0x0001
open: No such file or directory

Make sure you use sudo (see # in the wiki):

sudo hda-verb /dev/snd/hwC0D0 0x16 0x701 0x0001

Additionally, the wiki says hda-verb is provided by alsa-tools. This should be already installed, but I can’t check at the monent.
Just in case, install alsa-tools:

sudo pacman -S alsa-tools
3 Likes

the same error

sudo hda-verb /dev/snd/hwC0D0 0x17 0x70C 0x0002
open: No such file or directory

i think i found the solution

sudo modprobe -r snd-hda-intel
sudo modprobe snd-hda-intel
