No sound from Google Chrome in KDE/Garuda

Good day
For some weeks/months I have no sound coming from Chrome. Reboot does not help. I update the OS regularly.
Any effective ideas?

Did you get no answer from google about?

What have your internet searches revealed so far?
Apart from that, repairing a problem that has existed for weeks or months on a foreign system is impossible.

All add-ons removed?
All settings set to default?
Newly installed?
Does it work on chaotic-aur/ungoogled-chromium-bin @Fenris?

Yes, it does

What did I just get sucked into? :face_with_monocle: oh right…ya, if your going to use chromium for what ever and you need sound for the YouTube videos you watch, ungoogled chromium should work for you. Also since it takes you weeks to compile it, you have the oppertunity to fix the sound problems yourself since you have the chance to review all the source code. :sunglasses:

I won’t link it for you more than once. They have included ungoogled-chromium-bin in chaotic-aur for you.

I know, I just haven’t gotten around to installing it cause the non bin version is so integrated into my system at the moment. The next time I rebuild my system with Garuda on it will have the bin version installed this time around

Good evening
As I said, reboot does not help.
Poor inxi!
Workaround is around, and Altavista said, “ежмиуяшопущазатиа”
