No Audio from Built In Speakers - HP 15-ey0013dx

Hi,

I've been having this issue on every Linux Distro, so I'm suspecting it might be an issue of a lack of kernel support. But the audio on my speakers won't work on my HP Envy Laptop (HP 15-ey0013dx) and I'm trying to figure out why. Every distro I've tried uses pipewire, distros that use pulseaudio typically also have outdated network packages for this machine, so I tend to avoid those. HDMI audio and 3.5mm jack audio work fine, as well as bluetooth. It'll show 17h/19h HD Audio as an option in the audio settings, but nothing happens. This is literally the ONLY problem I'm having, been loving everything else about Garuda! Any suggestions?

The model you posted is a much older variant of my machine and also Intel, while my version uses an AMD Ryzen 5 5625U. Would these same packages work with that?

Did you search about?

I'd try. It's an alsa tool (used everywhere in Linux) and the problem might be due to a chipset in common with older models.
Maybe the values could change.
You should continue searching on the internet, but I wouldn't give up with this option...

Mmm this could be a problem:
