The issue looks like this. please forgive me for a image of terminal.

The top one is the one I can’t find. the bottom one is a test from the fish config.

I have also fully cleared the fish config an the top one is still there. So I’m just a little lost.

Somewhere you start fastfetch , check/see .config/fastfetch and use ugrep for searching.

ugrep -l fastfetch

But I do not use Nix

I’m brand new to nix so I don’t know to much, but ran the command brings up a a few hundred nix/store locations and my old backups of fastfetch when i tried to make my own layout in documents.

I wonder if it gets pulled over after when the installer sets everything up? but I’m just guessing.

It is set here:

You should be able to override it

As soon as I get back I will try to locate it and change it. Thank you.

I found them, but I can’t modify them. If I understand right cause its nix store? But sudo nano is a no go. I might just have to leave it.

Fixed by adding programs.fish.shellInit = "nitch"; to the configuration.nix Can’t set it to “” an set it in the fish config but this is more then fine.

I do feel a bit daft for not understanding it before ha.
