Night light doesn't take effect after bootup even if it is turned on

When reboot, the night light color doesn't affect the display color. but it shows turned on in the settings. but after turning it on and then back on, it takes effect. So i need to manually turn it off and then on to make it work after every boot. I don't have redshift installed.

Hi there, welcome to the forum!
Could it be this KDE bug?

But i have used other distros like arcolinux kde, which worked fine with night light.

When did you use them? Are you comparing the same situation as described in the bug report?
