New to Linux and Garuda

I am transitioning from windows 10/11, mostly because I am bored and because I want something with more customization.

I did quick trials with multiple distros, but I landed on Garuda dragonized because of its appearance, and I really like KDE, no matter the distro.

I am a non-computer field, but I tried out linux back in the late 90s, but never went back to it.

I am really into home automation (home assistant) and IOT devices (esphome).

I’ll wager that once you get acclimatized to Linux, your Windows days will be in the rear view mirror.

My biggest problem by far is leaving Cubase behind. I see linux does have Reaper, but pretty much all the VSTs are windows only.
