I think this forum needs a new issue template, so people end up actually reading it.
So much time has been wasted requesting information again and again.
Here is what I would put in it
<!--
READ THIS TEMPLATE BEFORE POSTING. DELETING OR NOT FOLLOWING THIS TEMPLATE WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE CLOSURE IF YOUR REQUEST
REMBER TO USE PROPER FORMATTING: https://forum.garudalinux.org/t/how-to-write-a-nicely-formatted-post-in-discourse-forum/
USE COMMON SENSE AND CORRECT GRAMMAR! USE A TRANSLATOR (e.g. https://deepl.com/translator) IF YOU HAVE TROUBLE EXPRESSING YOURSELF
-->
### 1. The issue
<!-- Explain *what problem* you encountered *where* when you *did what* -->
### 2. Attempts to solve it
<!-- Explain what you attempted to solve your issue. Leave blank if not applicable -->
### 3. System information
<!-- Post the output of `garuda-inxi` between the "~~~" -->

I wrote the template, so of course I'm a little biased. Personally I think the number of requests for providing an inxi has gone way down since adopting the latest template version.
In the end it really doesn't matter what you write there for some people, as they simply won't read anything other than their daily horoscope.
I think you treat the forum posters too graciously. Even though the template exists, you still regularly have to ask for the inxi output for example. If you just closed that request with a short notice, then, I think, more people would actually put effort into their posts.
We attempt to be friendly and not too draconian on the forum. However if repeated requests have been ignored, then I have locked many of these threads without the required information. Other mods also lock threads with regularity for refusing to provide a garuda-inxi.
I actually like this idea. Lock their thread and politely inform them that the thread will be unlocked once they edit their request and provide the information that was originally requested.
