New Garuda Install @ 97 Years Old

I have an elderly friend, She has been having trouble with Windows10, Updates and her Laptop is unsupported for Windows11.
So I put Garuda Dragonized on it (Because I know it) she loves it, 97 Years old!

Better late than never

But that’s not possible, Linux is a tinkering system and you always have to do everything with the console. What’s more, you need a bachelor’s degree in computer science to use Linux. And I can’t believe that Linux can replace Windows. This is clearly fake news.

She even loves the update animations.
(That might change when GRUB updates and it won’t boot but we’ll cross that bridge if it happens)

And don’t forget that this is as well Arch.

For Which you actually need a Master degree and still it will break even if you try to open a file manager!

But jokes aside. When I was giving my old aunt few years ago her 1st PC, she got it but with Linux :D. She didn’t know what OS she is using. SO her 1st Computer experience was actually on a small Netbook with a offshoot of Ubuntu. That was like 10y ago
