I have an elderly friend, She has been having trouble with Windows10, Updates and her Laptop is unsupported for Windows11.
So I put Garuda Dragonized on it (Because I know it) she loves it, 97 Years old!

But that’s not possible, Linux is a tinkering system and you always have to do everything with the console. What’s more, you need a bachelor’s degree in computer science to use Linux. And I can’t believe that Linux can replace Windows. This is clearly fake news.
She even loves the update animations.
(That might change when GRUB updates and it won’t boot but we’ll cross that bridge if it happens)

But jokes aside. When I was giving my old aunt few years ago her 1st PC, she got it but with Linux :D. She didn’t know what OS she is using. SO her 1st Computer experience was actually on a small Netbook with a offshoot of Ubuntu. That was like 10y ago
