Whats going to be on the new pc by default
Nop if its enough space for testing?
Did you ever try Garuda ?
I switched also from Endeavour to Garuda KDE Dr460nized Gaming and still happy with it.
You can test it on your actually pc with an Virtual Machine or install it if you have space on your harddrive. There you get some first impressions of it.
If you get a new pc i will recommend to do a fresh install of Garuda only you dont have later migration problems. For the question if you install the older or newer iso it dosnt mater because its a rolling release so it have update and upgrade function to already installed Garuda upgrade to install features like the newer iso .
Always do a Backup first and safe your important stuff to a external drive
Just switch,
The new Major version is in testing. But Garuda work as by now. Just keep in mind if you use the new MOBOs like X870 you may need to install extra drivers for the NIC and WiFi, as those MOBOs use new chipsets and I am not sure if its in the latest ISO.
I say go for Garuda now !! I currently have endeavor on my old laptop but use Garuda on my main
