Network Manager breakage reported: Jan-18- 2021

A recent breakage on Network Manager was reported today;

A downgrade to the previous Network Manager version from your package cache is the easiest temporary workaround. This will result in a partial upgrade situation (which is not recommended). Therefore, refraining from updating for a week or possibly 2 may be best until this issue is fixed.

But not verified. It could be something else, like systemd-resolved, or other, depending the installation.
I also have the same new version with no visible connection problem.

As there were two cases reporting similar breakages that were corrected by rolling back the Network Manager version I thought it produnt to report it here.

With a lot of Network Manager breakages in the past it has only affected a relatively small percentage of users. I imagine if a large percentage of installations broke, the NM update wouldn't be approved in the first place.

So, as I stated I was simply posting it as a heads up for those that might be affected is all. Luckily it doesn't seem to have affected anyone here.
