Possibly ndiswrapper need to be updated for a change in 5.16.8, but the more pertinent question is why you have ndiswrapper installed in the first place? None of your network devices need it?

I was trying out ndiswrapper and i had used it on Ubuntu, which is why i continued with it on Garuda also

OK, so just remove it. You don't need it.
