My laptop suddenly shut down

I just download a movie from telegram and my laptop suddenly shut down So, i need help

IF you want my laptop spec there it is
RAM-4gb
Hard disk-300gb
processer-intel i5 3rd gen

The information provided is a bit limited.
It turned off, but then does it turn on?
Does the initial POST (Power On Self Test) run (if visible, or at least the power on light comes on)?
Can you get to the GRUB?
Can you boot a live USB?
This may help to understand whether it is a HW or SW problem....

ans.YES
4.Can you boot a live USB?
ans.yes

Can you boot the live usb and supply your

garuda-inxi

From it
This sounds like a hardware issue but your garuda inxi will help

So, it shutdown only once after you downloaded and now you can boot and use it normally (but you want to check if everything is still OK)?
Or you can get to the GRUB but then it doesn’t boot?

Maybe yes, because when it is shutdown I can boot my garuda normally but after some time it's shut down again

After providing your garuda-inxi (even better from the installed system, possibly) I think you should start familiarizing with HW troubleshooting tasks.
The following guide was focused on different problems (freezes and the like), but most of the suggestions for HW still apply.
At least you could start working a little bit with your live USB, to see if it shuts down as well, then you should check at least your RAM and storage. Then in my opinion, if everything is fine, you can safely install other tools and check as much as possible of the rest (or, even better, you do it with live disks).

Minimum requirements

  • 30 GB storage space
  • 4 GB RAM
  • Video card with OpenGL 3.3 or better
  • 64-bit system

I suspect there is a temperature problem.
Install lm_sensors and run sensors-detect,
then start sensors
and observe the temperature.

First of all, I’d keep the power cable connected all the time.
The battery seems old, so like all old batteries can have sudden drops at a certain point in time and shutdown, going below the thresholds that could hibernate/sleep.

So,Do I change garuda from other linux distro which is light weight?

No, you should consider first other, lighter, Garuda Editions  KDE is probably the heaviest...
This depends on your preferences: Xfce, LXQT-Kwin, etc...
You have to try them, but first you need to make sure your HW is OK, whatever the decision will be.

BUT the pic of other edition says others are not pretty as garuda dragonized

I would properly repaste your cpu with new thermal compound to bring temps down and or blow your fans out.
It's of that age

then,what can i do

I think your hardware is from 2012 (BIOS from 2013)

Do not post like in a chat room, you can edit your post.

You got many answers, what to do.

You are the admin, just do it.

So, I just see you do not want to clean your laptop, no problem, live with the crashes.
