Why is your operating system crashing this often? And why would it show a black screen?
I donât know exactly, but after a few power outages, this is what happened.
Now it wonât open programs and keeps giving errors.
I think the problem is with the kernel because every time I update it says I have to manually update the kernel or else it wonât boot anymore.
And after booting, instead of showing the login screen, it shows a black screen and a mouse cursor.
Sometimes it shows the login screen, but after logging in, it shows a black screen again and everything glitches.
I think maybe I use a bad snap and thatâs why the operating system glitched.
Can you help?
Without logs, screenshots, anything? No.
Give us info and then thatâs a yes.
You need to tell us what you keep doing to mess things up. This is not normalâŚ
Look, I only used snapshots
And I installed a custom theme for the login screen and KDE
After the power went out, the operating system kept showing me a black screen
And I had to use my snapshots
And now everything is broken
Also, all the snapshots wouldnât load properly, many of them showed the same black screen after boot
I think I need to reinstall the operating system, but I canât find my flash drive. Anyway, thanks for your follow-up
By the way, I ran all the commands you said, and the last command you sent also ran, and all my snapshots were deleted
And now I think if I reboot again, the operating system wonât boot again
