Multiple window preview

Hello,
Experiencing below after running garuda-update

Prior to updating:
For any application with multiple open windows which are minimized,
For example web browser such as Firefox or Vivaldi...
Upon clicking the icon in the tray,
A preview of all open windows would appear on the screen
Where I could select which one to focus on

Since the update...
Clicking the icon in the bottom tray does nothing if the application is already running with multiple windows which are minimized. It does let me launch applications however. Currently, the only alternative I have is using Alt+Tab to switch to what I need. This isn't as efficient as it requires cycling thru everything that's open.

So I would appreciate any help in getting things back the way they were.

Thanks!

you're right,
that sounds like the same thing.

so, conclusion is to hang tight and wait for the next update?

Or install latte-dock-git which will replace latte-dock.
The git version already has those fixes and the non-git will not get them until about August, as there are too many to fix following the Plasma 5.25 big upgrade.

Thanks for sharing the alternative option @FGD
Could you please also provide the required steps for doing this correctly?

My guess is you mean how to swap latte's versions?

garuda-update
paru -S latte-dock-git

Respond Y when it will ask you to remove latte-dock (non-git).

There are many other ways to issue the commands, I just took this way of doing it.

Note: paru and pacman are interchangable here

Thx for that I've got the same issue since the update 2 days ago.

Also my deskop backgrounds get messed up after every start/restart of my computer. My secondary screen remains with a black background and my primary screen gets the background of my secondary screen. While the state which screen is primary or secondary remains correct. Also the latte interfrace works properly (except for the issue @vmiimu just reported in this thread).

I was kinda confused but if the fix will come with the next update I'm fine with it.
