Multiple character input on single key press

I am entirely new to garuda Linux and installed it a month back. But now, when I search for any application (after super + a) then on the first key press it acknowledges it twice and subsequent vital presses are fine. I tried to boot to previous snapshots as well nothing changed.

Here is the output of garuda-inix

Welcome to the forum

The first thing I would do is use

garuda-update

as you have not updated since

Try running a live environment to see if this issue presents itself there.

I'm running this from my system only and not from a USB stick(if that's what you mean by live environment)

Also, I have dual-booted my system.
