I guess it will be rebuilt soon in Arch.

Great

How do I get it to work though ? I reinstalled it but it’s not working

It’s not up to you.
This should be adjusted by the package maintainer.
One thing you could try is to build the -git version in the AUR:

paru mpv-git

Otherwise, I see in the Chaotic-AUR there are mpv-full and mpv-full-git. It looks like they just have more libraries, but I haven’t checked if they were rebuilt correctly.

I tried mpv-full , it’s not working too .
I’ll just wait till mpv gets updated.

Its not mpv, its another lib.

I know this, because I am using ALHP, and had the same issue. As usual, the solution is to remove the ALHP repos, update, then add them back.

I would take a hint at being libplacebo, but there were so many updates that I can’t be sure.

EDIT: also mpv wasn’t the only one affected by this, telegram also had the same issue.
