Mouse not working after 20250613.12fe085f linux-firmware update

Since this is the device we’re questioning, I’d also like to see the result of

lsusb -d 046d:c547 -v

It wouldn’t hurt to try linux-cachyos-lts and/or linux-lts too

This sometimes happens to me too. They way how I FIX it is following:

  1. Turn down your PC
  2. Set the switch on your PSU to off or disconnect the power cord from the power socket.
  3. Press and HOLD the power button on your PC (button you turn on your PC) for 25s
  4. Repeat step 3. 3-times
  5. Turn on your PC normally

Maybe it will help you

Ok, I found the issue and managed to fix it finally.

It was a combination of:

  • I updated the BIOS version on my x570 from F39 to F40g. This also reset all my BIOS settings so not sure how much it helped
  • I had broken DKMS modules for leetmouse and hid-xpadneo :man_facepalming:. I removed those before running garuda-update

Gaurda Rani actually helped me see the warnings about those broken DKMS modules…

I’m still using the zenver3 kernel, I installed linux-lts and cachyos, but never got to try them now that everything is working fine.

Thanks everyone for all the support and patience!

Ran the update just now via garuda-update and everything is working just fine now. Whatever was wrong hath been fixed.
