After last week’s update, my 3g stopped working saying it has a ppp problem, anyone knows why?

  1. Always post your garuda-inxi whenever asking for support on forum.
  2. From your picture alone I can see you are in a partially upgraded state. Do a,
garuda-update

in your terminal and update your system.

can this help figure the problem?
I can’t find the pppd file in run, is that the problem? And how can it be solved?

I tried to make the pppd folder and i copied the ppp database from another computer running garuda linux too, and it worked, but when i shut down the computer and turn it back on, the pppd file is all gone, please help

You can always set the file’s properties to immutable, then there is no possibility that the file you created can be deleted. You can easily research on how to set and remove the immutable flag if this idea interests you.

still the same issue, should I send the journal for when the computer restarts?

I would suggest downgrading Network Manager to the version in use when your connection was working properly, (if a NM upgrade occurred).

I tried to downgrade network packages, but the problem was from ppp package, the new ppp 2.5.0 package was the problem alongside with the other packages that were conflicted with it, so i reinstalled ppp2.4.9 and i had to remove the conflicted packages and everything is now working normally. Thanks for the help.
