Microsoft OneNote for Desktop

I’m trying to find a OneNote Desktop app or similar for Garuda. It’s available in snap but I don’t want to use that. I need something that can sync data across multiple devices and has both a desktop and web version.

I would use the desktop version at home and the web version at work.

The one in the snap store is also in the AUR: AUR (en) - p3x-onenote

(install with paru --sync p3x-onenote)

It works okish. As does a Browser session.
You won't have much fun without internet.

I, too, recommend to migrate to something else. I did the same (or are still in the process). My solution now is my nextcloud server as backend and a folder of MD files that I process with Obsidian (but there alternatives for that, too). I like obsidian, because it works quite well on Android, too.

On Android I use the foldersync app to sync my note folders. On desktop the nextcloud clients.

Nextcloud notes offers the web version in this scenario.

I have tried Joplin before, but it does not have all the features that are in OneNote unfortunately.
