Meld Binaries doesnt exist

Process seems confusing here… I tried running pacdiff right after the initial system install/upgrade. It returned Meld binaries did not exist

==> ERROR: Cannot find the meld binary required for viewing differences.

so i started looking and see other threads pointing to utilize ‘Merge Pacdiff files’ in Rani’s Maintenance. That applet ran and worked.

I reran the command sudo pacdiff and it worked fine… Did running that applet from Rani self install the Merge binaries for me? My thinking is that it should’ve been preinstalled and I be able to utilize the pacdiff command right away without error?

Yes, if not present, it will install and open the app afterwards.
Pre installing seems like a good option honestly.
