Main website broken

Not sure if others have seen this, but several times recently (and currently) the main website redirects to https://www.cloudflare-terms-of-service-abuse.com/stream.ts which is a video explaining CloudFlare ToS have been broken by streaming a video from CloudFlare’s basic service.

Not sure if it’s related to the impending website update and ISO release, but just wanted to point it out.

Probably just another issue with CloudFlare, they have been having a few for the last several days. Love having to check the same box 4 to 7 times before CloudFlare finally accepts that you are human.

Can’t confirm, it’s not happening on my end. And I’m very much wondering what files this might have as cause, as there aren’t any videos on the website.

This happened to me for the forum, on mobile Chrome. Cleaned history and cookies and everything was fine again, so I thought nothing of it. But now I know it wasn’t just a glitch in the Matrix…

Pretty worrying, you go to a familiar website and boom - random video file in your downloads. No idea what might have triggered it on my end. Great job Cloudflare.

I can confirm it, it happened to me 1 time last week when logging into the forum (Tor Browser) - and 3 times today when testing the homepage (LibreWolf):

I’ve been on the forum once or twice a day this past week and haven’t noticed anything strange. Then again, I am using Quad9 DNS with Zen Browser. Main page opens up fine.

no issues on my side uk,irl(sea on vessel) :ok_hand:

I enter the forum almost every day and I have no problems, now I have opened the main page and without problems. I am in Europe.

What browser are you using? any weird extensions? ive been trying to replicate this for a few days now an no luck
i blame cloudflare

It’s been fixed. I am on Vivaldi
ETA: I do have pi-hole on my network. Not sure if that played a part in it

I changed one thing on the website today: moving woff2 fonts to a CDN rather than hosting it on CF.

But as this also happened before switching to the new website today, and this one was also not making use of any selfhosted fonts… I don’t get it at all. The same goes for the forum. It is very much a hit and miss, and can’t easily replicated.

The timing is nice, haha. There must be something that changed on Cloudflare end.

@everyone getting this (and maybe reproducibly) - please try to open the developer tools of your browser (usually F12), head over to the network tab, check “Preserve log” and try to replicate the behaviour. Maybe this way we can find the files or file types reponsible for all of it.

CloudFlare has been having issues for days. I can think of 3 sites off the top of my head that I have to repeatedly check the box for CloudFlare before it will finally say passed instead of erroring out.

Now that said SIMPLY LOVING the new look and feel for the forum. The colors and layout really POP.

I’ve opened a ticket at Cloudflare, maybe that’ll help finding out whats going on.

If there are issues with colors or badly readable text let me know - it’s been mostly hand-made color-wise

Maybe for Rani’s light mode the white can be a bit more gray? or something as it is a bit hard to see the purple. not much though.

I haven’t noticed anything so far, but I’ll let you know if I do. Again simply FANTASTIC job.

LOL EDIT:

And one Minor thought and that’s what Rani isn’t RANI since each letter represents a individual word?

Let me know if you would like me to explore anything in particular. I will keep it cached on this machine for the time being so I can easily replicate.

I think so. For the light mode I used the same palette options as in the dark one, just with latte color scheme instead of mocha.

Either is fine

That’s fine for now, thank you. When loading the root HTML is already triggering it there must be something really wrong on Cloudflare’s end (or something is going on I don’t understand at all haha).

Exactly the same log here as with @zoeruda, since 17:50 continuously on the homepage and the forum - everything else works without issues.
