Lost Latte Dock

I was playing around with Optimus Manager settings, one reboot froze, then on next boot I lost the whole Latte Dock bar, Meta key does nothing, but other shortcuts do work. When the session started, it asked me about "creating a new KDE wallet" and for the WiFi password.

It's the 2nd time I'm loosing components/settings after a crash, but this time it looks more severe.

Snapshot restore won't help, probably because I lost settings in the /home/ folder like last time.

How can I get the system back?

Go into Garuda assistant and restore the latte configs.

Yes just saw it

Open garuda assistant, go down to where it says reset configs, select latte dock and then apply. Reboot and now your UI should be back.

Works now. Not sure what the “KDE wallet” was about though; nor what impact it would have. I selected the 1st option because the 2nd one required keys to be configured.

For the KDE wallet and wifi password give a look here
