What’s could be wrong?

As I already told you in your other topic, it is not necessary to post the information about the graphics twice and three times. All relevant info is in the garuda-inxi.

Were there any error messages during the update?

I don’t have the feeling that you know what you are doing.

First check the driver version and whether all required packages are installed:

pacman -Qs nvidia

Everything was installed correctly here:

Unfortunately, you simply removed everything afterwards and also installed nvidia-470xx-dkms instead of garuda-nvidia-470xx-prime-config - that’s why nvidia-prime was missing.

It might be best to uninstall the existing nvidia drivers and install the correct package again:

sudo pacman -S garuda-nvidia-470xx-prime-config

Then reboot and check if everything works w/o issues.

Ok, no nvidia driver is installed.
Install over pacman result is error (current) → you have a broken system.
3 option (my mind)

  • install over Garuda Settings Manager the nvidia-driver (not sure if this function, you have a broken system)
  • Boot in a “older” snapshot (4-5days ago) and hope that your system run.
  • If not… install then Garuda-Linux new. (reason broken system)

That the current nvidia driver was installed (ver 570.xxx) was handmade and never installed over garuda-update. Pls read next time before you change relevant stuff the how-to, special which driver/modul you need for the hardware. But doing and then learning is also a good result. :innocent:

OK, I will try. But. for the record, I did’t remove NVIDIA drivers. This become broken on last week update.

All I have done after it is try to recover it.

OK I did setting manager’s operation and suddenly, it install some features.

Then upd in konsole, and there were a kernel update.

And that works! After that update, System repair it self.
