Lost brightness control after reinstall

Hi fellow Linux lovers.
I recently reinstalled my Garuda due to package issues, and i can no longer change my brightness.

I used to have the brightness control under the battery tray icon, but it is no longer there.
And i can not control the brightness with the keyboard shortcuts either.
I booted up a live USB and the brightness controls are there, just not in my install.
Here are some screenshots.

The live usb

And my install

And here is my inxi output

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

OK thanks, I will look into that

OK i ran journalctl | grep devil and found a few possibly related entries.

Mar 12 04:54:56 Garuda backlighthelper[1295]: org.kde.powerdevil: no kernel backlight interface found

Mar 12 04:54:56 Garuda org_kde_powerdevil[1254]: org.kde.powerdevil: org.kde.powerdevil.backlighthelper.bright
ness failed
Mar 12 04:54:57 Garuda org_kde_powerdevil[1254]: org.kde.powerdevil: Handle button events action could not che
ck for screen configuration

I have no experience in this area so i have no clue what actions i should take here.

I would say that there is a good chance that it is the same bug, and that you should therefore wait for the KDE fix (and for it to be released).
