Login screen wallpaper persistence(?) issue

Right.
I’m using the KDE Gaming Dragonized build.
SETTING the login screen wallpaper(splash?), no issues. Changes easily from the GUI settings menu, along with the style theme. When I cold boot, the desired wallpaper is displayed. There’s never a change to the theme, theme stays consistent with what I have selected. If I log out, the comp goes to sleep, or I tell it to suspend/hibernate, the login screen wallpaper reverts to the default for Dragonized.

I’ve poked and prodded at this for a few months now. Combing forums, here, KDE main, random ones, arch main. It’s absolutely possible I’ve missed something, but I give up looking, and I’d like some help. More than happy to provide anything needed, but I’m no Greybeard Arch(btw)wizard, so I’m not sure what logs would be helpful or really where to find them.

Thanks in advance, both for any help and your patience.

Have you also changed the wallpaper in the KDE settings under “Screen Locking” → “Configure Appearance” (button top right)?

Cool, yeah, I thought I had. The default Dragonized wallpaper was selected when I checked just now. I’m just going to do a few logout, suspend, restarts and cold boots. Get back to you in a few minutes.

So I guess I hadn’t done that? I swear I had, but it seems to have stuck. I’ve marked that as solution as I’ve not been able to replicate the persistence issue I was having. Sorry, I feel really dumb right now, I’m positive I’d set it under Screen Locking, but…yeah.
