I wasn’t really doing anything on my computer, messing around with a virtual machine, when it suddenly stopped working and gave me an error about not being able to read something. My next logical step was to try updating to see if it was an outdated program or something of the sort, when it gave the following error message
─popcorn@the in ~
╰─λ garuda-update
[sudo] password for popcorn:
:: Synchronizing package databases...
error: failed to synchronize all databases (unable to lock database)
:: Synchronizing package databases...
error: failed to synchronize all databases (unable to lock database)
/usr/lib/garuda/garuda-update/main-update: line 10: /var/log/garuda/garuda-update: Read-only file system
From there I wasn’t really able to do much.
